Biography
Adrian Alvarado was born in Downtown Jersey City, New Jersey to Puerto Rican parents. He has been a working actor since 1994, attended NJCU majoring in Theatre Arts under the tutelage of Anderson Johnson and started his acting career in NYC studying under Eric Loeb and TVI Actors Studio. Adrian eventually moved to LA where he continued his studies at The Actor’s Space under Joe Palese, who came out of the Beverly Hills Playhouse trained by Lee Strasberg, Milton Katselas and Martin Landau.
Adrian has also studied under several other LA coaches including Mark Teschner, an Emmy winning Casting Director who casted Adrian in his first major television role as Detective Cruz Rodriguez in General Hospital and General Hospital:Night Shift.
Since his major break in Los Angeles, Adrian has worked on numerous commercial, print, movies and episodic television series with over 100 television episodes including:
Strong Medicine (TV Series), Urban Decay, Without A Trace (TV Series), Big Love (TV Series), Dark Blue (TV Series), Law & Order:LA (TV Series), Body of Proof (TV Series) to name a few.

After 12 successful years in Los Angeles, Adrian moved back to the East Coast where he has continued to work in TV Series like Blue Bloods, Limitless, Person of Interest, Elementary, Power, Deception, Madam Secretary, and most recently on Power, Blindspot (Season 4), The Punisher (Season 2), Men in Black: International, The Enemy Within, Alternatino and Law & Order: SVU.
